To submit an NEH Summer Stipend application, email Carolyn de la Pena, DHI director, of your intent and attach a description of the proposed study (not to exceed three single-spaced or six double-spaced pages) by Friday, August 21, 2009.

Proposals will be reviewed by a committee of department chairs and the DHI director and associate director.  Campus nominees will be notified of their selection by September 1st and will be invited to work with the DHI to refine their proposal for submission prior to the NEH deadline of October 1, 2009.
