DHI event support grants provide partial funding for conferences, symposia, guest lectures, workshops, and other large-budget academic events that serve scholars in the humanities at UC Davis. Priority will be given to proposals that directly involve UC Davis faculty and students in the humanities, foster interdisciplinary approaches in method or content, and draw participants and support from a variety of departments and programs. We can also help to publicize campus events through its website calendar and the weekly e-announcement, “This Week in the Humanities.”
The DHI staff can provide conference support, including consultation on planning and budgeting for major conferences, guidance to on- and off-campus resources, and outlets and strategies for event publicity. For more information please contact Jennifer Langdon at jlangdon@ucdavis.edu.
