“The Uncondemned,” is a critically-acclaimed documentary which enjoyed a world premiere at the United Nations in New York City
in October. It documents the international criminal case that UC Davis Law Professor Lisa Pruitt worked on in Rwanda twenty years
ago. That case resulted in the first ever conviction of rape as a war crime. Professor Pruitt played a major role in this case, and she is one of a handful of (then) young lawyers whose work for the Office of the Prosecutor is documented substantially in the film.

This event is sponsored by Human Rights Studies, UC Davis School of Law, UC Davis Journal of International Law and Policy
