Roger Casement: A Human Rights Celebration (1916-2016)

Roger Casement, the Irish “father of 20th-century human rights investigations” was also a diplomat, activist, nationalist, and poet. He was recognized and knighted for his powerful investigations of human rights abuses in the Congo and Amazonia. However, he was executed by the British for his pivotal role in the 1916 Irish Easter Rising rebellion.
