Sudipta Sen, a UC Davis professor of history who studies India and the British Empire, in this talk about India ‘s famous Ganga river, explores the idea of a cosmic river at the crossroads of myth, historical geography and ecology.
Reception begins at 6:30 p.m., with lecture at 7 p.m
