This plática will be a collective space where participants can engage in dialogue with some of the contributors of the groundbreaking anthology, Fleshing the Spirit: Spirituality and Activism in Chicana, Latina, and Indigenous Women’s Lives (University of Arizona Press, 2014). A conversation about Indigenous spirituality, creative and critical writing as prayer, and ceremonial practices as activism will be centered. Reception to follow in Hart Hall 1200.
Time: 12:10pm-1:30pm, Reception to follow Hart Hall 1200, 1:45-2:30pm
