Blitz the Ambassador performs Ghanaian Hip-Hop

Ghanian-born rapper and composer Blitz the Ambassador will perform a new music phenomenon known as “hiplife.” Blitz the Ambassador, a New York-based musician who has produced one album, “Stereotype,” will perform on the UC Davis Quad starting at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 22, with his band, The Park as a part of the annual Black Family Day.

This event is sponsored by African American Studies Research Cluster of the Davis Humanities Institute, the Office of Campus Community Relations, and the Ethnic & Cultural Affairs Commission of the Associated Students of UC Davis.
