As part of the Davis Downtown Second Friday ArtAbout, International House Davis features the exhibition "Isao Fujimoto: Life and Legacy."
In celebration of 50 years of Asian American Studies at UC Davis, this exhibition honors Dr. Isao Fujimoto, a founding faculty member of the department devoted to the welfare of immigrant and rural laborers and sustainable practices around the globe. It brings together work by students and professional artists working across a variety of media, including podcasting, photogram, textile, video storytelling, collage, printmaking, and web design, to explore themes of community, resilience, and sustainability. This exhibition is supported, in part, by a grant from the City of Davis Arts & Cultural Affairs Program.
