Join authors Maceo Montoya and Yxta Maya Murray for a reading from their new novels. Both Murray’s Art is Everything and Montoya’s Preparatory Notes for Future Masterpieces are centered on Latinx artists struggling to make their voices heard. In addition to writing fiction, Murray is also an art critic and law professor at Loyola Marymount. Montoya is a visual artist, writer, and associate professor in the Chicana/o Studies Department at UC Davis.
