Faculty Research Fellowship (FRF)

Faculty Research Fellowships (FRFs) are aimed at helping faculty make progress on a major research or creative project. Faculty from any department whose research questions are informed by qualitative, humanistic methodologies and/or artistic practices are eligible to apply for an FRF. The purpose of the fellowship is to further the research or creative activity of the individual recipients and to enable faculty within the humanities, arts, and qualitative social sciences to meet and work with colleagues in other disciplines and departments.

Applications are typically due in winter quarter and this page will be updated when the call for 2026-27 FRFs is released.
