The DHI’s core staff is supplemented by several graduate and undergraduate assistants who are funded either directly by the DHI or by affiliated projects including the Art of Regional Change, the Digital Innovation Lab, the Multi-campus Research Program on Food and the Body, and Boom: a Journal of California. The DHI also administers two graduate fellows programs and provides office space for visiting scholars. The DHI’s advisory board is composed of twelve faculty members who serve terms of three years.
Note: In 2009 administration of the Humanities Program moved from the DHI to Languages and Literatures, under the directorship of French professor Noah Guynn.
