In 2008 and 2009, the DHI hosted a graduate research symposium each spring featuring the work of current and former graduate student fellows of the DHI, as well as that of other graduate students working in the humanities at UC Davis. These events worked to foster and showcase graduate student scholarship in the humanities at UC Davis and to create an interdisciplinary environment in which students and faculty from a broad range of disciplines come together for conversations about issues of interest across the humanities today.
