Engaging the Academy is a Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) project at UC Riverside. It focuses on graduate student mental health, and the project is looking for someone to help with editing a podcast series. It will be produced in the coming two months. The topics for this series are as follows:
1. White supremacy, ableism, homophobia, and other oppressive structures in the university
2. Mental health testimonials of graduate students from historically marginalized communities
3. Research ideas addressing health outcomes meaningful to graduate students from historically marginalized communities
4. The impact of the higher level of scrutiny on people of color in medical school and residency on their mental health

The series will have four episodes. The content is being developed by the project’s Taskforce. The editor will be compensated at $30/hour for their work on editing the recorded content.
