On April 5 and 7th, UC Davis and Universidad Bernardo O'Higgins (UBO, Chile) will hold its second international colloquium, Ecología, política y conflicto en América Latina (Ecology, politics and conflicts in Latin America). The sessions include talks by Professor José Juan Pérez Meléndez and doctoral candidate Viridiana Hernández of the History Department as well as Víctor Brangier and Patricio Ibarra of UBO. Two distinguished historians from Mexico, Michael Ducey (Universidad Veracruzana, Xalapa) and Erika Pani (Colegio de México), will comment.
