The DHI is the hub for humanities research at UC Davis. We support that research through individual and collaborative grants of our own but are also devoted to helping faculty find external funding. The UC Davis Humanities Institute hosts a grants calendar of extramural funding opportunities. Faculty may also conduct a personalized funding search using the Community of Science Pivot database, available through the UC Davis Office of Research. Pivot allows researchers to create and save customized searches of grants, fellowships, and other funding opportunities from public and private, domestic and international sources. Though the name refers to holdings on science funding, this service also offers a wealth of information on social sciences, humanities & community outreach funding.
