UCSC's Arabic working group weekly meeting

In the fall quarter, UCSC's Arabic working group will be meeting weekly on Tuesdays from 12pm-1pm to discuss Arabic texts that participants are currently using in their research. Short excerpts from these texts will be pre-circulated with the group. No prior preparation is required and all levels are welcome. The sessions will be held in a hybrid format beginning on September 27th. In addition, on 18th November at 12:30 pm, the group will be inviting the Arabic language librarian at UC Berkeley, Mohamed Hamed, to speak about resources for research in the UC system and beyond. This will also be held in a hybrid format.
