15th Armistead Colloquium - Keynote Speaker Jonathan Rosa, “Latinxs Languages and Identities beyond Borders”

The Department of Spanish and Portuguese is pleased to announce the 15th Armistead Colloquium, which this year explores "Counter discourses and contestation practices in times of crisis". As one of the keynote speakers, Jonathan Rosa will give a speech about: “Latinxs Languages and Identities beyond Borders”. Dr. Rosa is a sociocultural and linguistic anthropologist at Stanford University. His research is oriented primarily towards language and race, Latinx identity, urban education, and language ideologies.
