This reading features two graduate students followed by an open mic*.
Jenavieve Hatch is in her second year of the UC Davis Creative wrtiting MFA program working in nonfiction and poetry. Her work has appeared in BUST, Playboy, and HuffPost where she covered women and gender, climate change and disaster and electoral politics before starting her MA.
Augusta Funk is a poet and writer originally from the Midwest. She has received fellowships from the Bread Loaf Environmental Writers' Conference and Vermont Studio Center, and her work has appeared in numerous publications. She is a first-year Ph.D student in English at UC Davis with interests in speculative media, disability studies, and ecopoetics.
