Grad Slam is an annual contest in which Masters and Ph.D. students across all 10 UC campuses – in disciplines ranging from hard sciences to humanities – compete to sum up their research for a general audience. And thanks to the talents and skill of plant biology Ph.D. candidate Katie Murphy, UC Davis is currently the reigning Grad Slam champion. We’re hoping to turn her win into a winning streak.
