Graduate Studies is pleased to announce the inaugural Graduate Anti-Racism Symposium at UC Davis. Co-sponsored by Graduate Studies and the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the symposium seeks to highlight best practices in anti-racist approaches to graduate education, particularly in the wake of the racial reckoning sparked by the murder of George Floyd and recent events that continue to illuminate racism in the United States.
The symposium will feature a keynote speaker, a panel discussion, and six breakout sessions that cover recently-developed anti-racist initiatives on campus. These topics will address a range of disciplines and aspects related to graduate education.
