About this Event
*This event is open to UC Davis affiliates only. Registrants who do not use their @ucdavis.edu email address will be removed.*
Designed to fund "individual scholars pursuing projects that embody exceptional research, rigorous analysis, and clear writing," the popular (and competitive!) NEH Research Fellowships provide recipients with a full year of protected time to pursue research or writing on any qualified humanities project at any stage of completion.
To ensure UC Davis applicants to this program have the best possible chance of success, the Davis Humanities Institute and Office of Research's Interdisciplinary Research Support team have partnered together to create the NEH Fellowships Preparation Program (FPP), a new series of workshops, writing sessions, and proposal clinics designed to provide Fellowship applicants with full-service support from start to submission.
During this Information Session, attendees will learn about NEH Fellowship eligibility criteria, application components, and tips on submitting grant proposals at UC Davis. Attendees will leave the session with:
- A comprehensive checklist of required proposal components, including institutional information required for submission
- A proposal preparation calendar with suggested dates for completing each required component of the application
- An introduction to the upcoming sessions in the NEH Fellowships Preparation Program (FPP) - all dates also listed on calendar.
*All sessions in the FPP will be recorded and posted to the Research Development Toolbox*
