The prospect of writing your first big grant proposal can be daunting. Take some of the anxiety out of the process by participating in this Grant Writing worksho. In this interactive workshop, we will break down the process of writing a successful grant proposal into a series of manageable steps, including:
- Refining your research subject
- Understanding the funding organization’s perspective
- Organizing your proposal, one section at a time
- Tailoring your writing for the target audience
About the workshop Leader: Andrea Ross has served as a lecturer in the UWP since 2017 and specializes in environmental writing and advanced composition. She is currently the UWP’s Assistant Director of First-Year Composition. She has extensive experience writing and administering grants for the National Endowment for the Arts, UC Santa Cruz, California Poets in the Schools, the Cache Creek Nature Preserve, and Common Earth Wilderness Education for Women.
