Three contemporary poets will read from new work and published collections.
Jessica Laser is the author of two books of poems, Planet Drill (forthcoming this year), which won Futurepoem Books' 2019 Other Futures Award, and Sergei Kuzmich from All Sides (Letter Machine Editions, 2019). Her work has recently appeared online at the Poetry Foundation, in the Bennington Review, and in Aurochs. A graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop, she is a doctoral candidate in English at UC Berkeley. She currently lives in northwest Indiana, where she is writing a dissertation on Robert Frost.
Margaret Ross is the author of A Timeshare. Her recent poems have appeared in The New Republic, The Paris Review, Poem-a-Day, and The Yale Review. A former Stegner Fellow at Stanford University, she currently teaches at the University of Chicago where she is a Harper Schmidt Fellow.
Noah Warren is the author of The Complete Stories, forthcoming from Copper Canyon in May 2021, and The Destroyer in the Glass (2016), chosen by Carl Phillips for the Yale Series of Younger Poets. His work has been supported by fellowships from Yale (Clapp), Stanford (Stegner), The Simpson Literary Project, and the Arts Research Center at UC Berkeley, where he is a PhD student in English, and coordinates the Lunch Poems Reading Series. His poems appear in The Paris Review, POETRY, The American Poetry Review, Ploughshares, and elsewhere.
