Graduate student Danielle Levin has written and created Whole Cloth, an M.F.A. project, in which a woman confronts her family legacy and heritage. The UC Davis Department of Theatre and Dance presents the play April 15-17.

Whole Cloth centers on a woman with no siblings, spouse, or children, wrestling with questions of legacy and heritage. Stories are embroidered and woven, literally and figuratively, in conversation with her seamstress great-grandmother and with S. Ansky, author of the 1937 film The Dybbuk.

Contains adult themes and language.

The production is directed by Molly Aaronson-Gelb with scenic and projection design by Ian Wallace, lecturer in theatre and dance.

Virtual performances are free and begin at 6:30 p.m. PDT.

The Department of Theatre and Dance is part of the UC Davis College of Letters and Science.
